  Background Information
 Confederation of Associations and Unions of Forest, Pulp and Paper, Woodworking and Furniture Industry, non-profit partnership was established by the decision of the Steering Committee of the International Forestry Forum on June 16, 2005. Confederation is a voluntary union of associations and unions dealing with all aspects of the Russian forest industry. The organizational structure enables interaction to be consolidated between government and nongovernmental structures that are directly involved in forestry, logging, woodworking, furniture manufacturing and pulp-and-paper production and development of an integrated vision of the forest industry in future.
